FocusLeaf
Study time, counted honestly
FocusLeaf is a study timer for students. Start the clock on a
subject, and it keeps the record: how long you studied, what you studied, and
how many weeks in a row you have shown up.
What it does
- Time your sessions. Pick a subject and start the timer.
Pause when you step away. On Android the running time also shows in a
notification while you work.
- Keep a streak. Five minutes in a day makes it a study
day, and studying in a week keeps your weekly streak going. The calendar
shows the month at a glance, with the hours on each day.
- See where the time went. Totals per subject for today,
this month and this year, so the picture is not just a feeling.
- Study alongside friends. Make a group, share the code,
and see everyone's totals for the day and the week — and who is studying
right now. Private groups hold up to 30 people; public ones, listed in
Discover for anyone to join, hold up to 50.
- Earn the odd badge. Fifty-five achievements for the
milestones worth noticing.
What it does not do
No ads. No trackers. No analytics SDKs. Nothing is sold, and your study
record is seen only by the groups you choose to join. The
privacy policy lists everything that is stored.
Getting it
FocusLeaf is made for iPhone and Android, and it is free. You need to be 13
or over. It needs an internet connection, because your study history is stored
on your account rather than on one phone — sign in somewhere else and it is all
still there.
