These terms are the agreement between you and us for using FocusLeaf. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them, to the Community Guidelines, which are part of these terms, and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use FocusLeaf.
FocusLeaf is made and run by Loftybread Studio, an independent developer based in New South Wales, Australia (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at loftybreadstudio@gmail.com.
You must be 13 or over. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission to use FocusLeaf, and by using it you confirm that they have read these terms and agreed to them for you.
Follow the Community Guidelines. As well as that, you must not:
The names you write in FocusLeaf — your display name, nicknames, subjects, and the names and descriptions of groups — stay yours. You give us permission to store them and to show them to the people the app is designed to show them to, as the Privacy Policy describes.
We may remove anything that breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines, and may suspend or delete the account behind it.
The FocusLeaf app, its name, its mascot and its artwork belong to us. You may use the app for your own personal, non-commercial study. Nothing in these terms gives you any other right to them.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or under any other law that cannot be excluded. Where the law lets us limit what we owe you for failing to meet a consumer guarantee, it is limited to supplying the service again.
Apart from that, and as far as the law allows:
These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google are not responsible for FocusLeaf, its content or its support. If you downloaded FocusLeaf from the App Store, Apple’s standard licence agreement applies as well, and Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms as third-party beneficiaries.
You can stop using FocusLeaf and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines, or that puts other people or the service at risk.
If these terms change, the date at the top will change with them, and where a change matters we will make a reasonable effort to tell you. Continuing to use FocusLeaf after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, and the courts of New South Wales deal with any dispute about them. This does not take away consumer protections that apply to you where you live.
